Unlock phones included in bankruptcy

I filled chapter 7 bankruptcy and included my Xfinity Cell service account. Please explain how to unlock the two Samsung phones.

I would like some information on how to go about unlocking 2 cell phone included in my account.

Good afternoon @user_kbkuaj! As mentioned in the link shared by DreamSayerZ, some of our Xfinity Mobile unlock requirements are:

  • At least 60 days must pass since your phone was activated.
  • Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
  • Your phone cannot be reported lost, stolen, or involved in fraudulent activity.

 

There may be an exception to these unlock requirements. We will need our team that specializes in bankruptcy claims to take a further look. Please send our team a direct message with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Full address
  • Case/docket file number if available.
  • Date the bankruptcy was filed.
  • The state in which the bankruptcy filed

 To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
    • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
    •  An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it.

Thank you for responding to my inquiry. I did read the link you shared. It was informative and I put in the message to the Xfinity Support Team. Hopefully they will  get back to me. I keep checking my phone for status.

Thank you for responding to my inquiry. I did follow your directions in putting in a Direct Message to Xfinity Support. I haven't received sn answer yet. I know the bill has been included in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. If you can look into this for me would be great.

No it was not. I have not received a response of any kind to my direct message to Xfinity Support 

I would like an explanation to why this Bankruptcy  information hasn't cleared my account so I can unlock my phones
