Hello and welcome to Comcast @user_apikce. Thank you so much for reaching out to us in regards the eSIM on Xfinity mobile. At this time we do not have a time stamp on when Androids will work with eSIM. You can always visit https://www.xfinity.com/learn/mobile-service/esim and check the compatibility on your phone.

@XfinityRoberto you're telling me there's no way of finding out the timeline or a due date ? I'm sure this is a project Xfinity is currently working on.

@user_apikce The compatibility will depend on the devices make / model / and current carrier. When checking https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/byod/compatibility/device for compatible devices on android the current carriers listed are Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and other. From there you would enter your IMEI number to check the devices' compatibility. Are you able to check the site for your device?

Is there any update on this? Can we request a feature for this?

@XfinityRoberto I tried this eSIM compatibility test tool just out of curiosity, but have little confidence in its accuracy. I copied and pasted the IMEI from each of our devices and both showed up as incompatible Apple devices. These are both Samsung Galaxy S22 phones purchased directly from Xfinity Mobile. If the tool can't even identify known Xfinity devices correctly, how can I be confident it is accurately assessing eSIM compatibility?

Hello @requa it states in the FAQ section of https://www.xfinity.com/learn/mobile-service/esim iPhone 13 series, iPhone 14 series, and iPhone SE (3rd generation) are eSIM-compatible devices with Xfinity Mobile. If you purchased an iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro model, your iPhone does not have a physical slot for a SIM card (pSIM), and will only activate with an eSIM. And to make sure your phone already has an eSIM built directly into it. Android phones are not mentioned for compatibility.
