Xfinity mobile 36.1 iPhone 6+
IPhone 6+ has not been listed as a “bring your phone” candidate for some time, but it had continued to work just fine. Until 12/27/2023.
Enabling WiFi Calling is very inconsistent.
Winter is coming and last March the phone being our only lifeline saved my wife’s life when she had a heart attack at our cabin in Yosemite.
Verizon (used by Xfinity Mobile) is the only option at that location. Not to mention this is my phone number for just about everything. Losing it is fairly devastating.
WiFi/Internet is fairly solid, but “WiFi Calling” not so much.
Seems wrong that Xfinity can just take this away.

Got great service from Xfinity Mobile via phone. They quickly sent out a new Sim Card. It arrived promptly and then though it took a bit of on-the-phone time for them to activate it, my phone is back in business with Xfinity Mobile.

Not that this has sparked much interest, but Verizon does still support the iPhone 6+ (which, sadly, is stuck at ios12), but research shows my sim card would need updating. (see image) Perhaps this is something Xfinity could get and update? One can hope. [Image Removed: "Personal Information"]
