Xfinity Mobile In Store Scam

If considering switching to Xfinity, I’d strongly advise against it. On 12/29, we worked with Tony in store (Annapolis, MD) to switch our plan from Verizon. We purchased a new phone in full, which was “out of stock” & had to be shipped. To summarize an almost unbelievable situation, our account information was leaked & our phone was stolen. An investigation led Xfinity to tell us it was not a data breach. Therefore, the police believe our information was leaked by someone in store.

We still receive spoof calls from Xfinity trying to extort us for IMEI #s and billing information weekly. They scary thing is that they knew all our account info.

Most important to note: Xfinity has not been willing to work with us on a resolution. Their solution is to buy a new phone. Stick with the customer focused reputable companies like Verizon & AT&T.
