3rd party emails not working
For two days now, I have been able to receive email on my 3rd party email application (Apple Mail) but I cannot send. I spoke with an Xfinity support rep who said this is a known problem and that they are working to resolve it. Wondering if any others are having the same problem.

Hello. Was your issue resolved? This issue is occurring to me (use of Outlook 2013). Comcast advised that they are having an "outage" and it will be at least 24 hours before resolution.

Check the email by logging into the account on the Xfinity website. When I did this, it began working again the next day. You need to check the account on the Xfinity website periodically, like every 90 days, to keep it active.
