Access old Comcast.net email.

Hello, I have a fairly older email (comcast.net) email address that I want to say I accesses sometime in the past and changed the password and now I'm unable to login, When I do I get prompted to access the WIFI which I'm currently on so if anyone has any ideas / tips I'd address it!

user_brg9xx I understand how frustrating it is to be locked out of your old @comcast.net email, especially when the system asks you to connect to the home Wi-Fi you're already using. This is a known security challenge with older accounts.

This specific issue often happens because the system is having trouble verifying your identity, either due to a security flag on the account or the lack of a current, non-Comcast recovery email or mobile phone number on file.

Since you are already on your home Xfinity network, try these simple troubleshooting steps, which can sometimes bypass the verification error:

1. Clear Browser Data: Clear the cookies and cache in the web browser you are using.

2. Disable VPN: If you use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or a browser in Incognito/Private mode, please temporarily disable it and try again.

3. Visit the Password Reset Page: Go directly to xfinity.com/password and attempt the reset there.

If those steps don't work, we need to escalate your issue to our Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team. They have the special tools to verify your identity over the phone and manually reset the password for older accounts that are stuck in this loop.

Please contact them directly:

 * Customer Security Assurance (CSA) Phone: 1-888-565-4329

The CSA team will be able to get your email access restored quickly. Please let us know if you have any questions or concern.
