Account is reactivated but email sits at "Welcome to xfinity connect we are now loading your email"

HI, I just recently got comcast/xfinity in my area, I had it at another address 7 years ago.  I am unable to access the @comcast.net email. system.  It simply says Welcome to xfinity connect we are now loading your email.  And then it says page timed out.  How do I fix this?
