account won't stay signed in or accept user name

First, although I always select to stay signed in, I never remain signed in and always have to enter my user name and password. This is annoying.  why give us the option if it doesn't work?

Second, lately when this does happen my user name is not recognized despite no errors on my end.  I have to try dozens of times for it to work.  please fix your software.

If the Xfinity website isn't keeping you signed-in after selecting "Stay signed in," it could be due to your browser settings or cookies being disabled. I recommend double-checking that your preferred browser allows cookies and does not have settings that clear them upon closing. Additionally, you're using a private or incognito browsing mode, it will prevent the site from remembering your sign-in status.

Would you mind sharing the message you see when you're unsuccessful in signing in with your primary Xfinity ID?

this occurs on my mobile devices, phone and tablet, such as when using the xfinity app.  I'm not doing anything differently than I have everyday for years.  8nclded is a picture if what happens despite entering my correct email address.

 Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
