After years of using Outlook for emails on my Android it is failing to sign it again
After using outlook for years on my android phone it asked me to sign0in again which I attempted to but it failed. I am able to access it via the website but not on my phone so the credentials are correct. I have been struggling with this for weeks. Here is what I did / know:
-- Remove my account from Outlook and added it back. - still failed the re-sign in
-- Cleared all data and cache from the Outlook app and removed the app from my phone.
-- cleared all data and cache from the Google Play store app
-- re-installed Outlook on my phone and was able to initially add my account and sign-on to retrieve my emails
-- the next day it was asking me to sign-in again and it failed saying the 'unable to connect' or something like that.
------- I uninstalled Outlook again and re-installed it ; was able to add my comcast account and sign in to retrieve my emails.
------- this went on for a week, having to uninstall and reinstall Outlook in order to check my emails
'--Today it asked me again to re-sign in, which failed saying something like' check your username and password' (which was correct since I accessed the email via my computer with the same credentials)
------- I deleted all data and cache from the Outlook app, uninstalled and then re-installed. Now it won't let me sign-in at all. It is stating 'Login Failed'
I am taking all the IMAP settings from the Xfinity website. I have an Android S23. Outlook version 4.2421.1
Can you help me?
Thanks

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_z0o8id. There is a known issue with that email service that our engineers have been working to resolve. If you are still having trouble with that send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
