Steps to retrieve an Xfinity email:

  1. Sign in to your Xfinity account
  2. Search for the email using keywords or the date
  3. Sort your emails by date

@suedes5

You could also try running a search for it from the search pane at the top of your folder pane.  I'm assuming you are on a desktop or laptop computer?

Hello, @suedes5 thank you for taking time to create a post. You've contacted the right place for assistance, and want to help you find the communication you're looking for. I was able to find this great document from our website, that has some easy to follow steps with recovering emails: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/recover-deleted-email

Please let me know if that was helpful with recovering the email you're looking for.

Unfortunately, the instructions in the article do not appear to work for mobile devices. At least, they don't apply to my Android phone. For users working with a phone or a tablet, how might they use the Recovery function?

@BruceW thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm not finding any documents with Android specific steps, but attempted those on an Android device and noticed they don't work like you pointed out. It looks like at this time, Android devices aren't compatible with recovering emails trying these steps. Using a different device such as a laptop or computer would be the best route for an Android user.
