Archive folder missing

There is no achieve folder listed anymore on my email account.  I would like to know how to get that back.  I tried to create a folder named Archive but i get a message saying that "Archive" is reserved.

Is this in webmail?  I don't think I've ever seen an Archive folder there before, but I may be mistaken since I use Thunderbird for my @comcast.net email.

Now, in Thunderbird I did Archive an email and it created an email folder named Archive and put the email there, and the folder did show up in webmail under My Folders.

Yes. Try to create an "Archive" folder using "Add new folder" anywhere in it and you'll get that "reserved" message.

Hello @user_u8uwhj

Comcast email has no "Archive" folder unless you create one, and no way to direct email there unless a user sets up a Filter to do that. Some email programs and apps use an "Archive" folder, so you should check the instructions for the program or app you are using to see how it uses an "Archive" folder.

If you are an employee, your answer makes no sense & didn't address the problem. What email programs are you referring to, we are on comcast.net from our pc's. I also deleted 'archive' folder under my inbox and cannot make another one. Getting same error message

Who are you addressing?  It's helpful if you quote or at least @ tag the person to whom you are addressing.  Please note, also, that you are replying to a 4 month old thread, which I am now closing to further replies.
