Blocked IP error.

My email is not coming through on my apple I phone or iPad. Says comcast has temporarily blocked my ip address

Hi there, @riptrackron! Sorry to hear about the trouble. Is this using a comcast.net email address or a different domain? Also, is there any additional details on the error?

Comcast.net is owned by xfinity so I assume they are the same domain. They are under the same company. So I believe I am using the comcast domain. Ron

I can read my email on the xfinity website but nothing is coming through to my apple phone or iPad . Don’t know why.

We're glad that you can sign in via the Xfinity website, and since this is the case, can you check your mail settings to ensure that third-party email access isn't blocked?

I have opened my security settings on the website over the last few days and the box has been checked to allow third party access, but still nothing comes through my apple products .

I have had no problem on my Apple products before this. Not sure why it is blocked now. I even tried signing out and in again but it hasn’t helped.

Have you deleted the mail account from both devices, and then logged back in new again?
