Can not access email from my.xfinity.com

Starting this week, I've been unable to access my.xfinity.com from my Firefox browser. I can still get into the Xfinity website from the main website, but that requires me to put in a password each time. I get a message saying (system is currently not allowing me to upload a screenshot, BTW):

The page isn't redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to www.xfinity.com

  • This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies

This can not be the case, as my I don't have any special rules set for the Xfinity websites, so I'm not sure what's going on. I have no extensions in my browser activated that'd be affecting a redirect. Anyone know what's going on?

BTW, this is also happening on Chrome. Doesn't matter if I delete cookies or not.

User525  Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I understand how frustrating it must be to face this issue, especially when you're trying to access your account easily. It sounds like there could be a few things contributing to the redirect problem, so here are some steps you can try to resolve it:
  1. Clear your browser cache: Sometimes stored data can cause conflicts, even if your cookies are cleared. Try clearing your cache in both Firefox and Chrome to see if that helps.

  2. Disable the automatic redirect to HTTPS: In some cases, browsers may force a redirect to HTTPS when not needed. Try turning off any "HTTPS Only" setting in your browsers and see if that fixes the issue.

  3. Check your DNS settings: If you’ve changed your DNS recently, it might be causing a miscommunication with the Xfinity site. Switching back to your ISP's default DNS settings could resolve the issue.

  4. Try a different network: Sometimes network-specific settings can cause redirects to fail. If possible, try accessing the site from a different Wi-Fi network or use a mobile hotspot.

I hope one of these suggestions helps! Let me know if you’re still experiencing issues, and we’ll get you squared away.
