Cannot add connect to Mac mail app

All of a sudden I cannot connect to the Mac mail app.  I have tried deleting and adding my account back to no avail.

Hello, @Lawillis1 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I understand the importance of having access to your email communication, I use a 3rd party email client on my phone to access those as well and would definitely like to investigate further if you're still experiencing issues. Checking our engineer board, I'm not seeing any open tickets related to MAC mail App.

I appreciate the update that you have uninstalled and reset the account back, to confirm you were following the steps outlined here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email

As well as ensuring the 3rd party access is still turned on: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access

I do always like to confirm, you're not having issues when accessing the email here, correct? https://www.xfinity.com/email

Third party access is turned on.  I can still access it on my phone

Lawillis1 Gotcha! Thank you for the details that access does work on your phone, which device is unable to access the email?
