Cannot send or receive emails on my Mac or iPhone

I updated my Comcast password today and tried to update the password on my Mac and iPhone so that I could continue to receive answers send emails from MAC MAIL.  I know that the account and password are correct as I used them several times to access my email from the Xfinity webmail.  I would like to continue to use my Comcast email but if it will not sync to the MAC MAIL app - then I will not be able to continue to use this email address.  Please help.

Good evening, user_ri6kmw! Thanks for knocking on our XFINITY Community forum door with your email syncing issue. Not to worry, you have reached the right team to assist you with this matter! By chance, have you already accepted the Yahoo terms of service migration email that was sent to your Comcast email inbox? If so, you will then need to update your email client settings through Yahoo as listed below.
-Sign in to Yahoo Mail and locate IMAP and SMTP settings.
-The incoming mail server will be imap.comcast.net with port 993 and SSL enabled.
-The outgoing mail server will be smtp.comcast.net with port 587 and TLS encryption.
-Make sure the account security box is checked from the XFINITY webmail settings too.
Once these steps have been completed, try refreshing your MAC mail app and signing in again to sync with your Comcast email. Let us know if this helps!
