Can’t get emails on iphone

I am unable to get my Comcast email on my iPhone.  Has been an intermittent problem for the last week (says password incorrect) but now can’t get them at all.  I am able to access via xfinity app and browser.  Settings are correct.  I gave seen that this is happening to many users on this forum. Please advise

Thanks for reaching out to us, we do apologize for any inconvenience you're having access to your e-mail on your iPhone. If you can log on to the Xfinity app and the website then all you should need to do is go into your iPhone settings to your mail accounts and make sure you're Comcast mail account has the updated password that you used to sign into the web browser or the Xfinity app

I'm having the same problem, but this isn't the fix.  I can logon on the website, but not using the Apple mail app.  My password hasn't changed, but I re-entered in the Apple mail app per you instructions.  I am still getting the same error of incorrect password.  Is there some other mail setting that you've changed since you're moving comcast email to yahoo?

that's what supposed to happen but it doesn’t.  As you can see others are having the same problem

I am having the same problem.  Nothing has changed, deleted account and tried to set up again to no avail.  Not 3rd party, my internet signal is the same as always, I am updated on update.  I usually can figure this out, but I have my comcast on my computer and laptops - but just not the iphone.  Very frustrating.  I have changed the password and put it in numerous times.  Nothing - it just says sign in a password is incorrect.

Hello @kelso2007! Sorry to see you are having trouble with the emails even after checking the settings, can you please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started. 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
