Can’t receive email from a particular person

I am unable to receive emails from a particular person/account. I am a discontinued xfinity customer but still have access to my email. I did try to change one of my settings to allow potential spam to go into my inbox but that didn’t help. (Her emails have not been going into my spam folder either). Any suggestions?

Have you emailed her and asked her to reply?  Does it come in, then?

user_ydraf9 Hi there! We totally get how frustrating that must be! Since you still have access to your Xfinity email, here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check Your Filters & Blocked Senders List – Sometimes, an email filter or block list can accidentally prevent certain emails from reaching you. You can check this by signing into your Xfinity email, going to Settings > Email Filters & Blocked Senders, and making sure their email isn’t blocked.

  2. Check Third-Party Email Apps (If Applicable) – If you’re using an email app like Outlook or Apple Mail, make sure their emails aren’t getting filtered or caught in a junk folder there.

  3. Whitelist Their Email – You can add their email address to your contacts and create a filter to always deliver their messages to your inbox. In Xfinity email, go to Settings > Filter Rules, create a new rule, and set it to always send emails from their address to your inbox.

  4. Try a Test Email – Have them send a plain text email (without attachments or links) from a different email address, if possible, to see if it's an issue with their domain or just their specific email.

If none of these steps help, it could be a technical issue on the backend. You might want to reach out to Xfinity Customer Security Assurance at 1-888-565-4329 to check if there’s any restriction on receiving emails from that sender. Let us know if you need more help!
