Can’t send or receive e-mail from my domains hosted by HostGator.
Like others have posted on these forums, I cannot send or receive emails associated with two domains I have hosted by Hostgator. This problem only occurs when I try to send or receive email when connected to my Xfinity Internet service. For example, when I am on my iPhone and I disconnect from Wi-Fi and use my cellular signal connecting through AT&T, I can send and receive email from my domains with no problem. It is only when I attempt to do this through Xfinity that the problem exists.
This has been going on for about a year and a half, and there have been very brief periods where things have worked, but never for more than a couple of weeks or so before the problem presents itself again.
I have spoken to Xfinity Support and Hostgator Support many times and while both parties acknowledge there is a problem, neither can present a permanent solution and each party always blames the other. This is extremely frustrating as it’s starting to look like my only recourse is to either change who hosts my domains or change Internet providers… Neither of which I really want to do.
If someone from Xfinity would be willing to dive into this with me and try and find a solution I would be extremely grateful.
