Can't view attachments in email

Prompted to download any attachment in email and still unable to view it.

Good morning @user_mh8b8o thank you for your post. Are you using a third-party email client, or are you checking your email via the customer portal link below?

 Cannot open attachments in email using either the Xfinity app or connect.xfinity.com.  Not using any 3rd party.  In the app I am able to open billing, account identity etc.

@user_mh8b8o We're not seeing anything on our engineering board as a reported issue so let's have you send us a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address so we can investigate. 

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I am using Xfinity's online email portal.  This is a new problem that started about a month ago.  Never had issues before

You haven't tried to open a PDF email attachment using the "customer portal" lately, have you? It doesn't work!
