Change comcast.net forwarding

I have an old Outlook email that I will stop using soon, but it is still receiving emails from Xfinity sent to my <userid>@comcast.net address.  I want to either de-link these or change the forwarding.

- I do not have forwarding set up in either my Outlook or my Comcast/Xfinity account

- I changed my contact email with Xfinity before this so it is not the old account

Are these accounts linked somehow that is hidden (my old Outlook address and my mandatory <userid>@comcast.net)?

user_uxbmeu Glad you reached out. I can understand this may be quite perplexing since the email does not show linked. I would like to assist. To get started, can you confirm you have followed the steps below in Outlook?:
  1. Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts.
  2. Select your account from the menu on the left.
  3. Click the minus ( - ) symbol.
  4. Click Delete on the pop-up window.

My Outlook is online (https://outlook.live.com/) and does not have a tools menu.  Outlook on the web stopped syncing email on October 30, 2018.

What are other possible solutions?

@user_uxbmeu  Thank you for including these details. Have you by chance checked your "Account Settings" to see if it's saved in there?

Hi, yes I checked my Outlook online (https://outlook.live.com/mail/) settings, and there is no forwarding set up.  I changed my Comcast/Xfinity user name so hopefully the new email is not also automatically forwarded.

Is it possible to no have a Comcast/Xfinity email or to not have emails sent to this address?  I have my personal email associated with my Xfinity account so they have that way of communicating with me.

@user_uxbmeu

Let's keep the look deeper into your account, . Could you please send us direct  message including your name, account holder name (if different), and the service address so we can get started. Myself or one of my awesome colleagues will respond as soon as possible.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

My husband and I both have Comcast email accounts that we cannot access. I have been on the xfinity assistance for several hours at least 3 times.  No help! The last time I was finally transferid to  a real person who could not help after about a half hour of trying he said he needed to talk to someone else and they would call me back.  I never got a call back. My husband said that was just a cop out to get rid of me . We finally went to an xfinity office they could not help or tell us what we need to do! We have 3 accounts with xfinity and have been with them for over 26 years.

i still need help!

user_0hhj4h Thanks for reaching out! I do apologize you did not receive a call back as promised. Are you getting any sort of error messages when accessing the email accounts? Also, have you tried accessing the email accounts from the Xfinity Connect Portal? https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/
