Comcast email on Thunderbird works then stops until I change password again

My email stops working on my desktop with Thunderbird for the past 6 months. I have to log into Xfinity to change my password entirely, then it works again in thunderbird. It doesn't appear to be Thunderbird or my set up.  I can get my email by login in each time on xfinity, but this not productive at all for me. All my Thunderbird set ups are as described on the Xfinity page as of 09/16/2024. Also, I have the most current 128.2.0esr (64-bit) version of Thunderbird.

Hello, @user_06ace7. We sometimes require that you reset or update your password at times due to evolving external security threats. We recommend that you reset or change your password regularly and take other steps to protect your information.

 

Are you having to go through the "Forgot Password" link when you try to log on using our website? Are you getting an error message/code when logging on Thunderbird?
