All of a sudden, this morning I couldn't send emails.
Checking the acct, I saw the outgoing SMTP server was offline.
This was the same on my Macbook and my iPhone.
I deleted the acct. on each and tried to reinstall it.
The Macbook is back to where it was (can receive email but outgoing server is still offline)
But the iPhone hangs up forever on "verifying the information".
I changed the Xfinity password earlier and was careful to use the new one in trying to set up the new mail accts.
Nothing else changed.
BTW, I have full email functionality at "connect.xfinity.com".
Any ideas?
