Comcast Emails Delayed from HOA Web Site Servers

In the last few months, emails sent from our home owners association website to comcast email accounts have been delayed by minutes or even hours.  They are not blocked, just delayed.  Emails sent at the same time from the same servers to gmail accounts arrive promptly.  A short text only email sent to 8 comcast addresses yesterday at 5:58p didn't arrive until 11:56p.  Can someone at Xfinity help us troubleshoot the problem?

Good morning SW_HOA_SEC! Thank you so much for sharing and reporting the delayed emails with us on our Xfinity Forums support site! We would love to help out! I'm sorry to read of the long delay you are seeing to your community members! I know how crucial emails have become over the years allowing us for almost immediate communications to our friends, families, and neighbors! I would be happy to help out and try to figure out what is causing the delay when sending to comcast.net addresses. For the 8 examples that you have is one email address your email address that we can troubleshoot with?

The first possible issue I can think of would be, if we are using a third party email client, there could be a delay in when that client refreshes and receives the new emails from the comcast.net server.

Along those same lines there is a setting within the Xfinity email basic settings for the refresh interval. We would want to check that as well to make sure it's set to 5 minutes, this will have the server check for new messages every 5 minutes. The steps to reach this setting are you sign in to xfinity.com select check email, at the top right click on the gear icon for settings. On the new page you will select Basic Settings at the top left and at the bottom of this settings page you can manage the refresh interval.
Are you able to check that setting on your comcast.net email account? Do you know if an email client is in use?

Thanks for your help Paula -

Yes, my personal email can be used for troubleshooting.  I have access to some of the outbound server particulars, and can send additional emails as beneficial, and can also send you source details of the email as recorded directly on the Xfinity email page (e.g., https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/#!!&app=io.ox/mail&folder).  I also use MS Outlook, which based on its time stamps, can't account for the hours of delay witnessed in any of the cases experienced.  The delay in reception was identical on my android cellular telephone.  I have another email account, based on gmail, it received the test email within seconds.  Let me know how you would like me to share the details.  Finally, yes, the Xfinity email setting is a a 5 minute refresh.

SW_HOA_SEC Excellent! This will help me dig into the delays. Thanks for working with us on this. Please send us a direct message with your name, service address and the comcast.net email address we will use for testing.

I use gmail on my phone as an email client for my comcast.net email addresses, and it tends to update almost immediately. There are a lot of factors and possible differences between my account and yours, but I thought it would help to check if I had any delays to compare.
Another check would be to sign in to xfinity.com and check the time stamp there to help figure out if there's a delay in the email client receiving the emails vs when it hits our inbox.
