Comcast is blocking me from sending emails after I send approx. 240 individual emails within a 24 hour period

This is the message I get after approx 240 individual emails are sent within a 24 hour period:

This issue started about 2 months ago. According to Comcast's email policy, I'm allowed to send up to 1000 individual emails within a 24 hour period. I have never sent this many, sometimes I send 500-600 but they are always sent individually, one at a time. I have been doing this for over 12 years with no problems until about 2 months ago.

I have probably made 20 phone calls to Comcast and every time I'm told there seems to be an issue and a senior tech will call me back but NEVER DOES. I am beyond frustrated. I have been with Comcast almost 22 years but they are about to lose a customer. Can someone out there PLEASE help me?

Thanks,

Rod

Thanks for the tag @Again

@user_wdf0ir If you look at the URL below, you'll see that sending bulk mail violates Xfinity Residential AUP.

https://www.xfinity.com/corporate/customers/policies/highspeedinternetaup

Two items of note:

  • transmit unsolicited bulk or commercial messages commonly known as “spam;”

  • send very large numbers of copies of the same or substantially similar messages, empty messages, or messages which contain no substantive content, or send very large messages or files that disrupts a server, account, blog, newsgroup, chat, or similar service;

I can see in the logs that you're sending nearly 100 messages in the same send action (not "individually"). You've sent to over 6000 individual recipients in the past two weeks, most only a single time. I do see days where you send up to your 1000 messages in the past 30 days. I would suggest that if you need to send bulk email such as this, you find an ESP to do this.  They can help you manage your opt-in/out and your lists.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks

@XfinityAlex

Thanks.

I bought an email account with Godaddy that allows 500 emails per day using SMTP, and pop3 servers which I need for the email client that I use. Do you have any other recommendations for providers since I usually try to send I need to send at least 500 emails per day to my customer database?

Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. BTW, I definitely do not want to be in violation of any TOS

@user_wdf0ir  (Apologies on the delayed response, I didn't get a notification)  I can't truly recommend an ESP, but there are many out there that could serve your needs.  Try searching for "email ESP comparison" or similar.  I'm not sure what level of support there is for a free ESP account, but it may be worth exploring free vs paid for those types of accounts.

@user_wdf0ir you might want to check out Google Workspace.  Yes, there is a cost, but for what you get it might be worth looking in to.

Good luck!
