Comcast.net email does NOT work using outlook or Samsung mail app
Stopped working this morning. My security setting allows 3rd party apps, and I can check email on a web browser. I want to use Outlook desktop and Samsung email app onmy phonethat worked for years prior to this morning.

Thanks for reaching out to us, I'm glad you're able to access your Xfinity e-mail through our website.
This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email has great information on how to set up your e-mail address with the third party e-mail program.
One thing I like to do when I use my Gmail account through my iPhone, I like to go into my iPhone and e-mail settings and make sure I've updated the password on those third party apps to be able to access my Xfinity e-mail.
I've had to do this before because I've reset the password on my Xfinity app which is linked to my Xfinity e-mail so once I did that I wasn't able to access my Gmail account until I went in and reentered in the new password on my third party email programs
Use the link above to make sure your settings are all correct and then also go into each e-mail program and make sure the same password that you used to log into your Xfinity account through our website is the same one on your third party e-mail programs.

I Found that the two factor authentication breaks Outlook and Thunderbird applications on my PC. They apparently are not prepared to handle the response that asks for the number sent via text.
