Creating mailboxes on iPhone email program

Why can I no longer create a mailbox within the iPhone email? It’s bad enough I had to delete and re-add my accounts and lost all my saved emailing to various mailboxes, now I can’t even set things back up to the way it was! I get some kind of “server error” when trying to add a new mailbox!

im trying to add a mailbox to keep track of “purchases” on my iPhone but cannot any longer! Nothing I try works any longer! Why does Comcast insist on making everything hard at times just to mess with its customers! It’s always one thing or another you guys play around with to [Edited: "Language"] people off!

I think you mean you're trying to create a folder under your Inbox.

In webmail you'll login to your email.

Right click on your Inbox and a fly out box will appear allowing you to create a folder.

No, I’m trying to do this within the iPhone mail program in order keep

my messages sorted. If I choose to “add a mailbox” I get a server error and no folder appears.

This is only in the iPhone mail app.

If you're using IMAP in you iPhone, you can go to webmail and do this and it should show up on your phone as well.

I’ve tried everything but nothing works. Called Xfinity CS last night and they have no answers. They suggested I call Apple for resolution. Funny but this all worked fine until two days ago when I couldn’t send email from the iPhone.
