Deactivated Email

Hello, I used a Xfinity email address years ago for an old tech account I now need access too.  I can log into my account using the website, however if I select the Email button, it returns me to the Xfinity home page.  As well as this, I cannot link this email to my computer, nor can I pull up the email on any other device or browser.  I need access to this email so I can recover this old tech account, however due to all of this I suspect it has been deactivated.  Is there any way I can get the email reactivated so that I can use it to receive the recovery message from the tech company.

Hello user_5fny25, thank you for the detailed post and visiting our Forum. I know how important emails can be, so I get why you're reaching out. We may not be able to activate your email, it would depend on the variables. If you have active service, you won't have access to past emails if you haven't signed in within the last 12-months, but you can reactivate your email by logging in. If you don't have any active services, you would have needed to log in within 90-days of your disconnection. Do you have service with us currently?

@XfinityMarcos Hello, no xfinity is not available in my area so I do not have service and it has been past the time frame.  Would be making a new one with the same address be an option?  I just need some way to verify this old account and that would be a life saver.

user_5fny25, thanks for clarifying, I can't say for sure that would work, but you'd only be able to create a new email if you had service with us. Let's see if there is another way to possibly reactivate the email. In order to get started can you please send a direct message to Xfinity Support with your full name and email in question by clicking the chat icon in the top right? Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

user_5fny25 thanks for working with me to see if there was a way to reactivate that email. I know we ran into a wall on this, but if you'd like you can review some options for disconnected emails and the different policies using this Link. Good luck with your Tech account, I hope you can find a different way to get access.
