How much will my Comcast monthly bill be discounted for jumping through all of the required hoops to be in Yahoo mail?

Email is not a line item on your bill so there will not be any discount.

So we get Yahoo with all of its advertising?

I've never used yahoo, but my impression is that the ads are all (or mostly) in the web UI.  So, if you set up an email client like Thunderbird, you should be able to avoid all or most of them.  (Even if they email you ads, a Thunderbird rule or spam filter can probably get rid of them.)

Good afternoon ralphinga. Hope you had a great holiday season.

As @Again mentioned, there is no additional cost for email, so it does not impact any of the cost associated with our service. If you are interested in a courtesy account review in general, I would be more than happy to take a look at your account for you.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
