DMARC is preventing certain emails from auto-forwarding to Comcast
I auto-forward all emails from my institutional email address (which uses gmail) to my Comcast address. Everything gets forwarded except emails from The New York Times. The NYT emails do not go into Spam; they simply get rejected because of a "DMARC issue." Here's the error message:
Action: failed
Status: 5.2.0
Remote-MTA: dns; mx2.mxge.comcast.net. (2001:558:fd01:2bad::4, the server for
the domain comcast.net.)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.2.0 LmeSrtLDc3FxFLmgSr9HJn Message rejected due to DMARC. Please see https://postmaster.comcast.net/smtp-error-codes.php#DM000001
I would have thought the reason might be that I pay for this subscription through my institutional address, not my Comcast address. However, this seems unlikely, since I can successfully forward each INDIVIDUAL email from the New York Times to my Comcast address; they just don't auto-forward. Until a few months ago, all New York Times emails auto-forwarded, just like all my other emails. Is there anything I can do to stop these emails being rejected when they're auto-forwarded to Comcast? Thanks.

Hello English53
Thank your for your post. It seems from your description that you have some rules/filters that might need to be adjusted. Below I included a great link that details the full process. I would advise just purging all of your existing rules/filters and starting fresh to avoid any confusion.
