does xfinity filter emails

I am not receiving Washington Post email newsletters.  WaPo said to ask xfinity if it is filtering out these emails.  Is it?

Good evening @MGB2 and thank you for reaching out to our dedicated Communities team on our Forums, we appreciate it and hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday so far! 😀 How is your week going? I'm sorry to hear that you are not receiving Washington Post email newsletters. Have you tried checking your email filters yet?

Here's how to check your email filters:
  1. Open Xfinity Email
  2. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner
  3. Click Email Settings
  4. Click Advanced Settings from the menu on the left

I have also included the following link to our website with additional information on spam and email filters https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience. Does this information help? May I also ask when you stopped receiving their newsletters or if you have checked your junk/spam folders yet?

@XfinityAlyssaA Thanks for your response.  Too much mail that I wanted was going to the spam folder so I turned it off.  Now all the mail goes to my inbox.  Are you able to answer my original question?  Is comcast stopping the Washington Post newsletters?  If I can get an answer to that, I can go on to the next step in figuring out what went wrong.

That is a great question, MGB2! At this time we are unable to see what email addresses are being blocked specifically. The department that you can reach out to about that is our Customer Security Assurance department. They can be reached at 1-888-565-4329 between 8:00 am - 12:00 am EST. Would you like us to follow up with you in a few days to see if they were able to assist you?

I send a political post out daily to 34 recipients. I have done this for over 3 years. Today I received and email from Xfinity saying my email  contained " questionable content" and was not sent !!!

The email I send daily contains articles from many news sources such as the NYTimes, Washington Post, CNN, Fox, Politico and many others.

Is my email now being monitored ?  Who read it and made this decision ?   This never happened before. A rep said they are "investigating."

Why... all of a sudden is this happening?

The day before yesterday, a political email of mine was not sent to one of several recipients.  I was advised this in an email from comcast/xfinity.  I do not remember their wording, but there was something objectionable about my email.  I changed the subject and resent it.  This had never happened to me before.

This may or may not have anything to do with Comcast but I want to caution you about sending news articles from these places as you might be violating copyright laws.  I don't know how much of the articles you're sending but the accepted "rule" is to send no more than the first paragraph followed by a link to the article.  If you are doing that, then you're in the clear.  Otherwise, you really need permission from the news sources to send articles to other people.
