Hello, @user_lkv7rf! Thanks for reaching out over the Xfinity Community Forum with your email concerns. You've come to a great place for help! Our team is awesome to work with because we'll do everything we can to help :) Not receiving emails to your Comcast (Xfinity) email address can be frustrating. Here's a breakdown of common troubleshooting steps, from the simplest to the more involved, to help you resolve the issue.

1. Check the Basics
- Check Your Spam/Junk Folder: This is the most common reason for "missing" emails. Our spam filters can be quite aggressive. Always check your spam or junk folder, especially for emails from new senders or companies. If you find a legitimate email, mark it as "Not Spam" to help prevent it from being filtered in the future.

- Check Your Webmail: Log in to your Comcast email account directly through the Xfinity website. This is a crucial step because it helps you determine if the problem is with the email service itself or with the email program/app you are using (like Outlook, Apple Mail, or a phone app). If the emails are showing up in your webmail inbox, the problem is with your email client settings.

- Confirm Your Email Storage: Comcast accounts have a 10 GB email storage limit. If your mailbox is full, you won't be able to receive new messages. Log in to your webmail and check the "Email Usage" meter. If you're close to the limit, delete unnecessary emails and empty your trash folder.

- Verify Your Internet Connection: A poor or non-existent internet connection will prevent your email client from syncing with the server. Try opening a different website to confirm your connection is working.

2. Review Your Email Settings
- Check Your Filters and Forwarding: Log in to your Xfinity webmail and go to your email settings. Look for any rules or filters that might be automatically moving or deleting incoming messages. Also, check if you have mail forwarding enabled to another email address, with the "keep a copy" option turned off.

- Disable Spam Filters (Temporarily): In your Xfinity webmail settings, you can often find an option to adjust your spam filter level or even disable it. This is a good troubleshooting step to see if the filter is the cause of the problem. If you disable it and start receiving emails, you know the filter was the issue. Remember to re-enable it or adjust the settings after you're done troubleshooting to protect your inbox from spam.

- Check Third-Party Access Security: If you use a third-party email program (e.g., Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird), we have a security setting that can affect its ability to connect. Log in to your Xfinity webmail, go to Settings > Security, and make sure the box for "Third-Party Access Security" is checked.

3. Troubleshoot Your Email Client
- Correct Settings: Ensure that the incoming and outgoing mail server settings in your email client are correct.

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): imap.comcast.net

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.comcast.net

- Re-sync or Re-add the Account: Sometimes, a simple restart of your email app or device can fix a syncing issue. If that doesn't work, try removing your Comcast email account from the client and then adding it back again from scratch.

4. If the Problem Persists
- Sender is Blocked: It's possible the sender's email server is being blocked by our spam filters. This is often the case when you are not receiving emails from a specific sender. The sender would receive a bounce-back email with an error code (like BL000000 or BL000001). If this happens, the sender's email administrator needs to contact us to get their IP address removed from the block list.

- Contact Xfinity/Comcast Support: If you've tried all the troubleshooting steps and still can't receive emails, let us know. We can investigate potential issues on our end, such as temporary server problems or an issue with your specific account.
