email address to cancel service

I cannot locate an email address to cancel my service. According to the online information, I am supposed to send an email to the email address listed on www.xfinity.com. 

There is no such email address listed anywhere. I tried to cancel per the "CHAT" which is nothing but preprogrammed responses.  Has anyone been successful in canceling their service? If so, how did you do it?

This is beyond frustrating and should be illegal.

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

click "sign in" where? from what webpage to I begin your set of instructions? I am signed in to the webpage I am reading your instructions on (duh, or how else would I be replying to your comment), and I do not see a "direct messaging" Icon anywhere.

I am mute and unable to cancel via phone or in store unless the employees know sign language. I have been trying to cancel for months. I just spent 1 hour going in circles with the "Xfinity Assistant" 

I can't believe this is happening.
