Hello user_3vrip6 , as our Forums expert @BruceW mentioned the emails will never default to the trash. They will only go to the inbox or spam unless you have specific filters set up or delete them manually.

Comcast's mail servers only deliver incoming mail to the Inbox or Spam folders, so new mail would only appear in the Trash folder if:
