Email Inbox Full [Edited]

Are you really telling me I have filled my mailbox too full or is that a scam of some kind?

I have spent a lot of time trying to delete emails, but I don't have unlimited time for that.

You are also telling me to increase my ICloud storage, but you don't tell me how to do that

My husband has just had a stroke, and I am the sole caregiver. I really need to know what to do to take care of this but without spending too much time on it when I don't have that kind of time.  I have already seen my emails stop and that can't happen anymore.  For what we pay Xfinity every month. you need to help me.  I need emails from the hospital and doctors to keep coming even if I can't clean out my box every night.  I expect to hear from you with a solution ASAP. My email is [Edited: "Personal Information"]

iCloud is an Apple service, so it may not be Xfinity that is telling you to increase that.  Also, since iCloud includes email, perhaps it is Apple that is telling you that your email box is full?

Hello larbonsand 👋 First and foremost I'm sorry to hear about your husband's condition, and want to send my best wishes to you all towards a speedy recovery! I can't imagine the weight on your shoulders right now, and infinitely appreciate you reaching out during this difficult time. Above all else, I want to help by getting you access to your email back 👍

Xfinity does not send out any type of email communications to customers regarding iCloud storage, and each comcast.net email address has a standard email storage limit of 10 GB per Xfinity ID. It is safe to say any communication regarding email storage expansion claiming to be from Xfinity is not actually from us. Can you tell me if you're able to login to the intended email via https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/?

@XfinitySeth: Although connect.xfinity.com is the correct URL for Comcast/Xfinity webmail, the link you posted, when clicked, attempts to load https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/email-inbox-full-edited/connect.xfinity.com, which is invalid and produces a "Not Found" error.

ETA: link corrected

Still waiting to hear what the response is. I get an info box over and over saying my mailbox is nearly full (Uh Oh) but my storage numbers are less than the 10GB. What is the answer to the woman's question I wonder.

@user_8saw20, hello! If you're getting a message about iCloud storage, that is from Apple, not us. It is referring to the backup space allotted for your mobile device in the Apple Cloud Storage service. They give you 5GB free, and then there are fees for more storage. Your Apple device automatically backs up certain data. As an example, say you take a lot of pictures and videos, that's uploaded to the cloud and can get full pretty fast.

If it's a message from us, have you checked the online webmail portal for the storage numbers? The directions on how to do so are here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xconn-email-storage-limit
