Email is sending everything to spam

I just realized that all of a sudden (last several days?) all of my email is going to spam. Some of it was very important email. I went in and changed the setting so that ALL email goes through, instead of filtering. It is still sending everything to spam. This is incredibly frustrating.

Hello, @user_a5gp4b thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I understand the frustration when you're important email communications aren't going to the correct inbox. I know you mentioned changing the settings, are there any email filters still set up? https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/spam-filters-and-email-blocking-new-experience

- Are you using a 3rd party email client?

I do have filters set up for spam that I do NOT want to receive. My emails go through comcast, first, and then to my mail on my computer.

In fact, the email that you sent went to spam.

@user_a5gp4b I found this older post on regarding emails going to spam folders. The email filters only work when they first arrive. Do you have any other spam setting onthe computer?

It always go through comcast first and then to my computer. This is occurring when it goes to comcast. And all the emails I had in my inbox that I wanted to keep, have all disappeared.

@user_a5gp4b I appreciate you answering all the questions, it's helpful, and I want to continue investigating this further. With the email disappearing have you attempted to recover any of those: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/recover-deleted-email ?

We're in the process of migrating email to Yahoo Mail, and the rollout will be in phases: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview

- Have you by chance started the process and accepted the Yahoo Mail terms of condition?

... And also, I am no longer receiving notification that you have replied ...

The messages were posted as Replies. Many Forum users (like me) receive email and "Bell" notices for Comments, but not for Replies, courtesy of a bug that the Forum's deep-discount contractor has failed to fix for over 4 years. Comcast/Xfinity doesn't seem to care about the problem either.

Please be aware that there are 2 kinds of responses in this Forum: Replies and Comments. When you Comment on a post by scrolling down to "Comment on this post here...", I am notified of your response. But if you select Reply, I am NOT notified and may not be aware of your response.

Now, see, I DID received notification of YOUR reply but the only way I see XfinityJustinC comments is if I go to the original email I received and click on "View on Community" and keep scrolling and updating. Thank you.

I did figure it out myself, but all the emails I had in my inbox are still gone.
