Email not syncing on Verizon android phones

Starting yesterday, email will not sync on 2 different android phones. One gets message “server unavailable” other just quits after a while. Working fine on iPad, Amazon Fire tablet, and laptop with Outlook. I tried adding a connection using Google Mail, but that would not connect either. AFAIK nothing changed on the phones, just stopped working.

Hello BaltimoreBill, thank you for checking out our Forum for help regarding those email issues. I practically live in my inbox and use my phone too, so I can see why this is important. On the devices in question, are you able to access your emails using the Xfinity website as a temporary workaround? What 3rd party email client are you using on those devices to access your email?

It started working again next morning. Probably a problem with Verizon.
