email not working in aquamail

I have done everything possible to changing server settings to changing my passwords. Authentication rejected. At a point when I am @security type I have changed that too. StartTLS ( accept only). Then the authenticatically in box I have Chose Automatically, Do Not Login, SASL CRAM-MD5, SASL PLAIN, AND SASL LOGIN. I have tried it all. I am using Aquamail for my phone, or outlook. Got it working on my desktop, but not phone. I use IMAP not POP. Can you tell me how to fix this?

@user_dtr54 Thank you for making us aware you're still having issues accessing your email via Aquamail even after updating your server settings. I would be more than happy to help figure out a solution with you.

 

Could you please visit our Xfinity Email web portal and verify that you are able to successfully sign in using your Xfinity ID? You could potentially be asked to update your password and/or add third-party contact information for future password recover efforts.

 

Please also check that you have the third-party email option enabled as well. You can find a step-by-step by following the instructions on our 'Turn your access to third-party email programs on or off in Xfinity Email' support page.
