How are you accessing your email?  With just the webmail UI and a browser?  Or a client like Outlook or Thunderbird?  Something else?  Did you try running a search by date range for the older messages?

I've been using Outlook and the webmail UI interface.  They both show only today and yesterday emails.  If I search for older emails - neither app finds them.  It's like they are removed.

It's super frustrating and is causing me major problems.

Is there a way to DM the Xfinity people perhaps??

I'm going to escalate this to an employee to see if we can get some traction on the issue for you.  You should see a response here in this thread.

We are glad to help in any way that we can with your email access @Paul_A.  Please feel free to shoot us a private message so that we can get started.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
