email storage
I'm having the same problem as a few others in the forum regarding storage limits in my email. I always thought that If I moved emails I wanted to keep into a folder in the system, that wouldn't count towards my email storage limit. But, duh, I think I'm wrong. I've deleted thousands of emails recently, but the storage seems to not be affected that much. Yes, I have sorted and deleted emails that have very large attachments (saved some attachments to my computer) and deleted and emptied trash. My emails have gone down considerably, but my storage limit is still in the high 90% usage. So, my question is, are the emails I save in my folders (in the xfinity system) counting towards my storage limit?

Yes. All emails in all Xfintiy Connect folders (including the Spam and Trash folders) count against your 10GB limit. So do the messages in any folders you create. The only exception is the hidden Recover Deleted Items folder, which is where email is held for 30 days after it is deleted from the Spam and Trash folders.
