Email subfolders

My email accounts shows I'm getting close to being full.  I have deleted hundreds of emails.  I noticed that I have several Inbox subfolders which I did not create.  when I remove the subfolders, more Inbox subfolders appear.

So you have the account enabled in a mail app or desktop program?  If so it may be creating those folders.  Disable the account in them and see if the problem persists.

How do I disable a desktop program?  I have Xfinity email in my desktop, iPad and phone.  Do I have to disable in all three?  Also, will the additional folders disappear, or will I have to delete them?

Thanks for your help.

Good afternoon @user_ds9skw! I see Latoque shared some good advice to troubleshoot this issue. Have you had a chance to check if those steps work?

Do you have the account enabled in a desktop client like Thunderbird or Outlook?  On the iPad or the phone do you have the account enabled in the Mail app that comes with iOS?  Or are you using only the webmail interface and a browser to access the Comcast email?
