That looks like a scam. Not even Comcast/Xfinity is so incompetent as to stick words together in such an awkward way. "Update" emails that have any sort of "click here or lose your access" demand are almost always scams.

Do not click!

Check email that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity with their Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/) and look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email for examples of valid logo placement. A logo in the body of the email does not count.

Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site, and only for email sent to a Comcast.net address.

If you are wondering about "conversion to Yahoo" messages, legitimate ones look like the example in https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/68e5cc7e19d01b57e46b0864?commentId=68e64c7119d01b57e46df868 and appear when you log in to https://connect.xfinity.com/. Also see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview and https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-yahoo-mail/SLN36803.html.

Thank you for this response.  I would never click on something until I was sure it was legitimate.

JR63, Hi there! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to reach out. I can definitely understand the importance of finding out if this email is a scam and never clicking on something until you are sure it's legitimate. @BruceW, is correct and awesome for sharing all this useful information. That does look to be a scam. While we have you, how are your services working? Any issues or concerns?

Everything is working ok. Just worried about the mail transition to Yahoo.  I am not very tech savvy and do not like change.  Thanks for reaching out.

JR63, I am very happy to hear everything is working. I can understand the worry, as transitions can disrupt our normal routines. I am confident that once the transition is complete, you will have a better email experience. Before we let you go, and if you have time, would you like us to explore some of our newer 5-year options to see if you have the best plan available for your household needs? These new plans include unlimited data and the best-in-class Xfinity Gateway at one simple, monthly price. The kicker? There’s no annual contract required. You also have the freedom and flexibility to cancel at any time without penalty! 😀
