E-mails have DISAPPEARED!!

This morning on ALL of my devices (Including Comcast WebAccess Email) all of my Comcast emails earlier than 2/26 have disappeared.  Sent Items look OK, ditto Deleted/Trash folders.  There are no emails in my Inbox earlier than 2/26/26.

Any thoughts?

That would definitely be concerning to see, especially if the messages were there previously. A few things can cause emails to appear to disappear like that, so it’s worth checking a couple quick things first.

Sometimes messages get moved automatically by filters or email rules, so it may help to check folders like Archive, Spam, or other custom folders to see if they were moved there. Using the search bar in Comcast Webmail to search for an older email sender or subject can also help confirm whether the messages were moved instead of deleted.

If you’re accessing the account through a mail app (like Apple Mail or Outlook) on multiple devices, it’s also possible that one device synced changes to the mailbox, which could move or remove messages from the Inbox view across all devices.

Another thing to check is whether any Inbox filters or sorting options were accidentally applied in Webmail that might be hiding older messages.

If the emails truly aren’t showing in any folders through Comcast Webmail, it would be a good idea for us to take a closer look at the mailbox history to see what may have happened.

connect.xfinity.com via the web interface.  I usually access it through outlook on my Macs or PCs.

I would look through the connect.xfinity.com and check the settings. I'm assuming the missing emails are missing from Outlook as well.

Linda, you assume correctly.  That's where I first noticed it.  Can you tell me how to look at my 'mailbox history' that Airelle referred to above?
