End of my wits. Xfinity has no idea why I’m not getting emails from certain places.

For at least the last year, I haven’t been receiving important emails from major companies and organizations including my pharmacy, my utility companies, etc. I have no blocked emails, an empty spam folder. Because of multi factor authentication, I can no longer access my own electric company account to even change email addresses with them. And when I ask Xfinity, they say my inbox is too full and some emails will get through while others won’t, so fine, I deleted thousands of emails and I’m no longer anywhere near full, but I’m still not getting my emails. My pharmacy has started telling people not to use Comcast email address because they aren’t getting through to any of their customers. What is going on?

Hi there, @Highwaymiles I’m really sorry you’ve been dealing with this — that sounds incredibly frustrating, especially since it’s affecting important accounts and communications. It’s understandable to feel concerned when messages from your pharmacy and utility companies aren’t getting through. Since it's been a few days since you last posted, are you still having trouble with your emails?-Richard

Yes, I have had this problem for months. I spent two MORE hours on the phone with my electric company just this morning to try to fix this and they told me to check my spam filter. I have no spam. To show this is an ongoing problem, I started playing the McDonald's Monopoly game a couple weeks ago. I got the codes for a week, then suddenly….NOTHING. Apparently I can add McDonalds to the list of companies that can’t email me! What else am I missing? Email from family members? Job offers!?! This is insane! I’ve been a customer for decades!

Thank you for reaching back out, @Highwaymiles That sounds incredibly aggravating — I’m really sorry you’re going through this. You’ve been diligent, gone through the time and effort to sort things, and it still hasn’t been resolved. You absolutely should expect your emails from important places and personal contacts — like your family or job-offer senders — to be delivered reliably. You came to right place to have your email concerns address. Can you please send me a DM with your full first and last name along with your full service address so that I can assist you further.

Do yourself a favor, and get a gmail account. It is free, and you will not have the lunacy of dealing with comcasts' draconian email system and policies.

I did! Unfortunately, I can’t change my email address with these companies without first getting those multi factor authentication codes to access the accounts. The companies tell me I have to have Xfinity fix it. Uuuuuuuuggghhh.
