Entire last month of emails are missing.

This evening I was looking at emails on my phone and suddenly an entire month’s worth disappeared. I didn’t delete them. I’ve seen multiple posts about this. There must be a problem with xfinity servers. Can someone tell me how they recovered the missing emails? I am missing all emails from 10/14-tonight at 9pm.

I have the same issue, does anyone now the fix or when it will be resolved?

Hi user_mx17bt! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out on our Forums letting us know you're also experiencing this missing emails issue. I certainly know the importance of retrieving those emails. My team is here to help.

For troubleshooting purposes, are the emails still disappearing on your end or did the issue correct itself on a certain day? Also, were all emails missing for this timeframe or only specific ones?

Same issue - email from 14 October through 11 November is gone, including sent mail.

Dug back through the forums, this issue has been popping up for months now.

More info: I'm only using the web email, no other access. Results are the same across my desktop PC, cell phone and tablet, using two different browsers on each (three on the tablet).

Nothing was deleted - the only things in the Trash folder are five emails I deleted on 13 Nov. Emails from one sender that are automstically saved to a specific folder have also been affected - there's now a month-long gap.

Logging out and back in changes nothing. Cache and cookies won't make a difference, as some of the browsers I've tried have never been used to connect to the webmail server before.

I'm using 5% of me email quota, so that's not it.

From reading older posts, at least *some* folks have reported success in getting their mail recovered; it appears that the only way to do so is by opening an online support chat, though. (A lot of posts just die with no reported resolution, however, and I haven't seen an explanation/fix posted, so far.)

Hey, @user_kci720! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear that you are missing emails from that time frame. I know how frustrating it can be when things go missing and would like to see if we can get this taken care of for you. Since it has been a few days, are you still missing the emails? You mentioned this was on your phone. When you log into Webmail, do you see the emails there?

I am also having this problem.  All emails from 10/17 thru 11/15 are missing.

They are not deleted.  They are also missing if I check email via my phone.

I have followed all of the troubleshooting suggestions from previous posts of this problem (logging out, clearing cache, etc.)

What is the resolution?  Do I need to contact support for a restore?

Hello and welcome to Comcast! @user_vqaxny. I am sorry to hear that some of your emails are missing on your folder. Have you gone to your computer and checked online to see if you are missing the emails as well?

Same problem here. Customer Service says they are doing a refresh but so far, no recovery of the missing month of emails. Seems like this happens to a lot of people. Can't believe Xfinity doesn't have something in place to prevent this when they do server maintenance!

This happened to me a few months back and it just happened again. -----  every email from December 4 through today just disappeared. They are not in my trash or inbox. Even emails I sent and moved to folders are all gone. NOTHING AT ALL in any folder after December 4. I run my business on this email account and have now lost critical emails. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Same here, 30 days gone Dec 22-Jan 20 & nowhere. 1 ticket opened but sent me emails from wrong dates. Ticket #2 sorry can't resolve- need to send to the engineers?? So 3rd ticket open with 48 hr wait & they all keep saying they might not be able to recover them. They are a massive & highly profitable data & tech company - not possible they don't have backup files. So if they don't recover our emails it will be a business decision our business isnt worth the expense to them. Had problems few mons ago too. After 4 decades of loyalty Xfinity is falling apart. Time to jump ship & save ourselves! : (

I have the same issue. From Dec 23, 2023 to January 23 2024 have disappeared. I have been through 2 recovery tickets that have only resulted in older then December 23 emails in that recovery folder after waiting 2 hours each.
