Feedback on new Yahoo email

The new Yahoo email is horrible, it has ads all through the inbox that can't be deleted.  I'm not happy with this change at all.

I understand ads are not always wanted @user_u09fxv There may be a way to remove those ads and the link: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/remove-temporarily-hide-ads-yahoo-mail-sln15803.html from Yahoo does show how you can remove them. I hope it helps!

@XfinityDena to remove the ads I would have to pay for Yahoo mail, which I shouldn't have to since I'm already paying for the service through Xfinity.  You made this deal, you should have made sure that all your customers had an ad free version.

user_u09fxv The Xfinity email service is no longer a part of our service offerings, and now fully supported by Yahoo. I can assure you that we aim to always ensure you get the best experience possible, unfortunately, we have no way to control the ad experience. We thank you for the feedback, and apologize for any frustration.

@XfinityThomasB well before you made that deal you should have made sure that your customers would not have to deal with a bunch of ads they can't remove without paying Yahoo.  Do you not test this stuff before making decisions?

user_u09fxv We apologize again for any frustration with the new email experience. You can always use a system like Outlook to have a dedicated system outside the Yahoo interface to check and interact with your email. There is truly no additional options we have or specific information we are able to provide in reference to this transition. Thank you again for the feedback, I will make sure to share the concerns on our end.

@BruceW I already pay for my email through Comcast, they made a deal with Yahoo and moved email to them, I shouldn't have to pay extra to remove ads when this is already part of my internet service.

The Yahoo interface is absolutely terrible, and I can't interface Outlook to it.

I agree. It's part of our service with Xfinity and they shove us onto another platform that is [Edited: "Language"]. Like others, I don't want to pay to remove ads when I already pay for Xfinity. If there were another decent option for high-speed internet in my area, I'd jump on it. But there isn't. Yet.

Guess I'll move everything to gmail instead.
