Former Customer - Email Access Stopped from iPhone and iPad

We are a former customer and have been using Xfinity email for 3 years now (our new neighborhood does not offer Xfinity).   My email is working fine.  My wife's stopped on Tuesday with an error of just not collected email from server to iPhone and iPad.  She tried to login to the Xfinity site and immediately received a password reset request.  When clicking that, it cycles for about 5 mins and says we need to connect to our WiFi, which I assume is Xfinity, which we do not have.  I logged into our old master primary account to possibly reset there and that access for management is now gone

How do we reset the password when we do not have Xfinity network access.

Mine is working perfectly...we live in Xfintiy email every day.

Help please and thank you!

There is a large jump in issues like this recently. It is probably related to the forced password reset last December due to a security event. Apparently, you must use the WEBMAIL interface every few months to access your mail to refresh an account if you are no longer a Comcast customer. The problem is, subaccounts seem to be unable to be updated. I ran into something with my deceased mother's email. I was able to reset my deceased father's, but not hers.

Personally, I would STRONGLY suggest moving your email to a generic email service that is not tied to your ISP (Gmail, Outook.com, ProtonMail, etc...) Yes, it will be a pain to update websites, friends, family, etc... If you do get access to the webmail interface, you can set it to forward all mail to your new address. Luckily, in my case, my mother's mail is forwarded to my fathers.

Thank you.  Yes, we have already moved on, but geez, would have been nice to have had some warning.
