frustrated

I stopped getting emails @comcast.com on my computer and I couldn't connect with the app on my Samsung phone (message said phone version no longer supported or something like that). So, I bought a new phone (galaxy s26) and added the xfinity app from google play store. I've signed in as instructed to use the account, but I still can't get my emails to resume (I have received a few spam emails, but no legit ones). It's been four days without a single email.

I'm starting to get a few emails on my computer, but I can't sign in to my mobile app. I try to "verify identity' but I get a message saying "there was a problem signing in to your account." I follow instructions and "sign in again."  and when I do, I just get a "sign in again" message. I changed my password and still can't get in.

I figured out an elaborate workaround to read my email on my new phone, which is not ideal:

  • I go to your website on my phone
  • Click on the search icon
  • Type in "inbox"
  • Results come up and I can click on "go to my inbox"

Not as easy as clicking on the email icon and getting there immediately, which I used to be able to do on my old phone. If you can help with that, please do. Thanks.

Thanks for clarifying. To use a third-party email app, please follow the setup steps here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email

If you haven't migrated your e-mail to Yahoo, via the Xfinity app if you go to the search function and type in e-mail, and click on go to my e-mail box, you can also view your emails through that function as well
