Haven't been able to retrieve Comcast email via Pop3 with Gmail for almost a week

Hi all, 

I normally treat gmail as my pop 3 client that way I have both my emails (comcast+gmail) consolidated into one easy place.  But for the past week, gmail hasn't been able to connect to comcast to retrieve my emails.  

I login fine via webmail on xfinity's website and I see the mails there. But gmail never retrieves them.  I've validated that I've got proper pop3 settings configured (and haven't changed them and have been using this setup for years).  Is there any sort of ongoing issue that I'm not aware of? 

Can anyone think of how to get around this issue or troubleshoot it?
