HELP I'm on the SpamHaus Blocklist

I am on residential Comcast service and I am on the Spamhaus Blocklist. Spamhaus stated: "you are on the Policy Blocklist (PBL) - This is for information only. No action is required (unless you run your own mail server)".  I do Not run my own server. I contacted Xfinity and asked to be removed as spamhouse said this would fix the issue.  However all the agents I have spoke to never heard of spamhaus or told me there is nothing they can do.  Because of this I haven't been able to send an email in five days!! Please Help

Below is a message from Spamhaus:    "

73.0.0.0/8 is listed on the Policy Block List (PBL)

Outbound Email policy of Comcast for this IP range

Email sent by Comcast subscribers using a mail program such as Outlook or Thunderbird are required to send the email through Comcast or some other relay host. I am on residential Comcast service and I am on the Spamhaus Blocklist. ...

It can't be removed. All residential IPs assigned by all ISPs are dynamic and can change at any time. For that reason all of them are, or should be, on a number of policy blocklists. That doesn't mean you can't send email or that your email should be considered spam, it only means you can't operate a public server on your Comcast service. That would be contrary to Comcast's Internet AUP (see https://www.xfinity.com/Corporate/Customers/Policies/HighSpeedInternetAUP).

Hi @user_k5bc23, thank you for clarifying. We understand how important this communication is to you, and we provide this service because we want our customers to have a secure way to communicate with the world. Our friend @BruceW brings up a great point, but if you feel this is not the case I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team. You can do this by reporting the issue here https://spa.xfinity.com/report or by giving them a call at 1-888-565-4329 between the hours of 8:00am - 12:00am EST. They are much more suited to diagnose your issue at hand, and get you back to sending emails.

Once you have a resolution we would love for you to come back here to share what worked! 👍

How are you sending your emails?  It looks to me like all of Comcast.net email servers are in 96.102.x.x or 96.103.x.x, so you should not be receiving a message about 73.x.x.x.
