Help! What if I acidentally deleted email invite for yahoo transition?
I received 2 emails within 2 weeks from an email address of [Edited: "Personal Information"] with a notice about the email transition to yahoo with a link to click. The second one was today from the same user and this time the email stated that if I don't click on the sign in link for the yahoo transition by today, Aug 20, 2025, then my comcast email will be suspended and I will not be able to access it. I did not feel this was legit and did not click on the link. I felt it was suspicious, and permanently deleted the email. What email address will the notice to accept the yahoo terms/conditions come from? If I did accidentally delete the legit invite email, how do I request another one?

You will NOT receive an email from a comcast.net address; those are reserved for residential users, so the email you received was a phishing email. Hopefully you did not click on any links.
Any legitimate email from Comcast/Xfinity will have the verified logo next to it when viewed in webmail. And, at this point, you most likely have not been notified of the transition to Yahoo! Mail.

So, you might want to start checking in on webmail if you use a third party email app.

In https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/switching-to-yahoo/688f5fd3c3884e34154bc962?commentId=688fe7e1c3884e3415511bfa&replyId=6890c604c3884e3415575eba employee @XfinityAlex stated that 'the option to migrate will come from "updates.xfinity.com".' If an "update" email does not come from that address, it's a scam.
See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/xfinity-comcastnet-emails-transition-to-yahoo/6883ec0a64c6412424623141?commentId=6887d51b1724e917a036cbcf&replyId=688a7aa41724e917a04fca2a, where employee @XfinityBenny describes the notification process.
ETA: I have now received an "Important update: Changes are coming for Comcast.net email accounts" email. It was tagged as "Xfinity Verified Email", the "From:" address was "xfinity@updates.xfinity.com", and I believe it to be authentic.

[Edited: "Language"] So it was NOT a legit email account telling me I had to switch by tonight, it was phishing - can I forward that email to your security dept? I wish you had sent out legit notices with that info prior to this moving and update that info each month so we know where we are. Now everything I own is compromised by this move. grrrrrrr It did not have the red xf sign on it.
